Department of Social Protection

Campaign, Print, Video and Audio Production

Hurrah Hurrah were commissioned by the Department of Social protection to design a campaign and supporting materials for the national strategy on disability and employment for then minister of social protection Leo Varadkar.

The report and supporting print materials adhered to the Universal Design Guide published by the National Disability Authority. Considerable attention was given to layout and typography and increased contrast. Success was determined by approval from the National Adult Literacy Agency in which we provided a ‘Plain English’ version for the visually impaired.

Universal design principles crossed over into digital media with a series of Sign Language video productions we also produced for the department. We ensured the smooth organisation and management of qualified sign interpreters and provided professional audio in both Irish and English.
